I have tried a mix and match of XPS 1330 XP drivers and XPS 1530 Vista drivers (for the wired network especially), but still got two problems: -I got an 'Other devices' with 3 'Base system device' with question marks indicating they have no drivers. They have PCI details as PCI VEN_1180&DEV_0592&SUBSYS_022E1028&REV_12 4&28D6DE3B&0&4BF0 PCI VEN_1180&DEV_0843&SUBSYS_022E1028&REV_12 4&28D6DE3B&0&4AF0 PCI VEN_1180&DEV_0852&SUBSYS_022E1028&REV_12 4&28D6DE3B&0&4CF0 Anybody have an idea what these are and where to get drivers? Selecting 'Reinstall driver' produces no result. -The Dell Touchpad menu selections 'Touchpad settings' and 'Scrolling settings' do not work. Any ideas how to get these working? Using the touchpad without being able to change these is pure murder. Other than these two, the XPS 1530 works pretty nicely with XP, now Service Pack 3. Howdy-- I was able to use the 32-bit Vista driver under XP for the touchpad-- works fine. I'd suggest uninstalling the old driver first. I had a devil of a time finding XP drivers too, but I was able to get many of them from the M1330 site-- I understand those have been removed, though. Curiously, 2 days before ordering my M1530 I had the prescence of mind to find the XP drivers first-- that was part of the deal-breaker for me, if I could get XP drivers for all the on-board stuff. I did not slipstream the SATA drivers and am running mine in ATA mode. No biggie from what I understand. I did have to get the wired network driver from Marvell, as I couldn't find one for it on the Dell site. I ditched cranky Vista on mine as well and never looked back.
